$375,000 For an Owner of an Accounting and Tax Preparation Firm Destroyed by Fire

Updated: May 26, 2023

A fire destroyed our client’s building and business personal property when he was out of state. He submitted a claim to the insurance company, which immediately, and without any investigation, denied his claim, accusing him of arson and fraud.

We sued the insurance company in federal court, and after fighting for more than two years, we exposed the insurance company by showing that it had no evidence of the arson and fraud allegations. We recovered $375,000 for our client.
