Subject: The resolution of towing company charges on my car and trailer
Dear Rabih:
I’ve had some time to contemplate where I would be personally, mentally & financially with & without your experienced expert lawyer/deposition taking services. Without question I would have been in a world of hurt without your expert legal skills which reduced the monies I had to pay to end the lawsuit.
I was being sued by The Towing Company for near $50,000 for 400+ days of storage charges on my VW Jetta Diesel Car & Small Flatbed Trailer that was involved in the loss of a state policeman’s life on 8.29.2015. My car/trailer was impounded by The State Police. The State Police impoundment time period was throughout my pretrial & trial periods + 2-weeks which ended in the summer of 2018; 400+ days at $70.+ a day.
After the trial The Towing Company sued me for the 400+ days of storage charges. I was 100% acquitted by the jury on all charges (2-felonies & a misdemeanor). The State Police had impounded my car/trailer but took no responsibility for the impoundment costs. The prosecution didn’t bring up any information on the car/trailer during the trial.
Facing this delima we met. Rabih, over a year+ period you methodically worked my case using your abilities & experience. It took near a year of your maneuvering to take a deposition of the owner of The Towing Company. Being there was eye opening to me to see how you worked, gained information & controlled the deposition of the owner of The Towing Company. The information gained from the owner in your 3+ hour deposition formed the basis for the owner to move from his demanding 100% of his law suit amount for months to his accepting $15,000 to resolving the issues.
I couldn’t be happier with your work on my law suit. Your constant updates on our progress & your master negotiating skills to obtain the final results was something to behold.
