$200k For an Insurance Agent after a Large Insurance Agency refused to pay his Renewal Commissions

Updated: May 26, 2023

We represented an insurance agent who worked for a large insurance agency for five years. During his tenure, he transferred his book of business to the insurance agency after he was promised continuing renewal commissions.

After the last policy was transferred, the CEO of the insurance agency terminated him and informed him that no more commissions would be paid. We sued the agency, and after six months, we recovered all renewal commissions owed to our client.
